Almost 1 month now since I've been licensed, I've been working a lot and it looks like the little vacation I had my heart set on just isn't going to happen. I'm debating whether to still take the time off or not; with 3 weeks of vacation per year, I can't do it but I don't know if I want to wait or not. I'll need some sort of break sometime, especially with these 50-60+ hour work weeks.

I know I am fortunate to have a good job with a good salary, especially with the major student loan amounts I have out and all the other bills. It's just so stressful... But for the most part I love my job and I'm glad I chose this career path.

I have been really busy and working long days for the most part, which I why I'm not posting much, for those of you (if any) that read what I have to say. I'm still pissed about the opposition to the ILLEGAL Immigration Ordinance in Hazleton (especially at Rendell's comments) and I still support Hugo. It's funny how some people ask me about the latter part, I'm just not that vocal about it anymore, I don't know....

... what's all the BS about trying to get a new judge? It's a jury that decides the verdict, not the judge! Stop it already!!!

I actually laugh when I read that they think the judge is "partial" towards Hugo. HA HA HA!!! It's funny because the DA has NO case but of course Hugo's getting special treatment, riiiiight...

And what's this about a "bloodbath" if Hugo is acquitted? That's stupid. If ANYTHING happens to Hugo, they just condemned themselves. Plus, he's maintained his innocence all along, so who do you think you are saying shit like that? His family has to read that, how do you think they feel about it all?

I wonder what the big bad DA would do if I wrote him a letter saying why the judge should STAY?!?!?!? And ask him what's taking so long about filing for the death penalty when his assistant had NO PROBLEM talking about it on Nancy Graceless's show?

Yep, you might be angry with what I've been saying lately. Well, whatever. This is what happens when issues and people need support and I am a voracious supporter of what I believe in and friends and family. Nothing wrong with that. Oh, one more thing...

P.S. Happy birthday to me? Hugo's trial is set for 5 days after I turn 25. Although with the above-mentioned "hoopla", it probably will happen alot later than that....
